How to Use

User Manual

Get started with 4ToDo in minutes. Here’s everything you need to know.

Tasks Overview
1

Organize Tasks into Categories

The Tasks tab is your starting point. Create color-coded categories like “Home”, “Tech”, “Travel” — each with its own icon and color. Tap the + button in the top-right corner to add a new category.

Each category card shows your overall progress at a glance with a visual progress bar and completion percentage.

Task Detail
2

Break Tasks into Subtasks

Tap any task to see its detail view. Here you can:

  • Check off individual subtasks to update the progress bar
  • Add new subtasks on the fly using the input field
  • See due dates and reminder status
  • Edit or delete the task via the pencil icon

When you create or edit a task, you can set a due date and configure a notification reminder.

Routines
3

Track Recurring Routines

The Routines tab manages things you need to do regularly — from watering plants weekly to checking tire pressure monthly.

Each routine card shows its interval, how soon it’s due, and an urgency fill bar. Overdue routines appear at the top in pink. Tap the checkmark to mark a routine as done — it automatically calculates the next due date.

Supported intervals: Daily, Weekly, Every 2 Weeks, Monthly, Quarterly, Every 6 Months, Yearly, or a custom day count.

Goal Tracking
4

Chase Your Goals

The Goals tab lets you set measurable objectives grouped into categories. Each goal supports three tracking modes:

  • Counter: Tap +/− buttons with a configurable step size
  • Value: Enter custom amounts to add to your progress
  • Slider: Drag to set progress visually

Add milestones to celebrate intermediate achievements. Milestones auto-update as you progress and can be toggled manually.

Radar Dashboard
5

Radar — Your Daily Dashboard

The Radar tab is your at-a-glance command center that shows:

  • Almost There: Your goal closest to completion
  • Needs Attention: Overdue tasks and routines in red
  • Upcoming: A 14-day timeline grouped by day
  • This Week: Activity heatmap showing your daily completions

You can complete tasks and routines directly from the Radar, or tap them to navigate to details.

Settings and Backup
6

Backup, Export & Settings

The Settings tab gives you full control over your data:

  • Auto Backup: Runs every 7 days automatically, keeping up to 7 backups
  • Manual Backup: Create a snapshot anytime with one tap
  • Restore: Roll back to any backup
